Our Administrative Core provides oversight of all funds, infrastructure, and activity reporting for our Center using information technology to allow data sharing and promote effective and timely communication between Center investigators. The Core is also responsible for coordinating meetings with our Center Advisory Committee (CAC) that has clinical, scientific and patient advocacy representation. The Administrative Core is also focused on improving our web presence, videoconferencing, and other technological capabilities and promoting the use of the Shared Resource Core by investigators in our Wellstone Projects, by investigators at other Wellstone MDSRCs, and by investigators, patients, advocacy groups, and care providers in other medical centers nationally and internationally. We have also implemented additional educational outreach initiatives with patients, advocacy groups, care providers, as well as other researchers.
