My research focuses on understanding the disease mechanisms and evaluating therapeutic strategies for the large and growing family of repeat expansion diseases, including myotonic dystrophy (DM), spinocerebellar ataxias (SCAs) and C9orf72 amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (C9-ALS).
