Dr. Huda Y. Zoghbi – Keynote Speaker and Mentor at the 2026 Center for NeuroGenetics Symposium January 9th, 2026

The Center for NeuroGenetics (CNG) symposium fosters collaboration and innovation by showcasing cutting-edge, unpublished research presented by junior investigators. The symposium will bring together students, postdocs and faculty across the University from the Center for NeuroGenetics, Department of Molecular Genetics and Microbiology, and the Center for Translational Research in Neurodegenerative Disease in the College of Medicine as well as the McKnight Brain and Norman Fixel Institutes at the University of Florida. Posters and Short talks will be selected from abstracts submitted by Students, Postdocs and other Trainees.

We are honored to announce that Dr. Huda Y. Zoghbi, M.D., Ph.D., Distinguished Service Professor and Investigator at Baylor College of Medicine and the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, will be our keynote speaker and mentor.

This year’s symposium will take place on January 9, 2026, at the McKnight Brain Institute (AM) and the Cancer Genetics Research Complex (PM).
