Celebrating Award Recognition at IRCND25
We are thrilled to announce that two of our researchers, Hannah Golliher and Tala Ortiz, were recognized for their outstanding presentations at The 5th International Research Conference on Neurodegenerative Diseases (IRCND25).
🏆 Hannah Golliher was honored for her poster titled:
“Repeat Instability and Splicing Abnormalities in a Novel DM2 BAC Transgenic Mouse Model”
Hannah’s work sheds light on the complex molecular mechanisms underlying Myotonic Dystrophy Type 2 (DM2), using a newly developed BAC transgenic mouse model. Her findings offer promising insights into both repeat instability and splicing disruptions—two hallmarks of DM2 pathology.
🏆 Tala Ortiz was honored for her oral presentation:
“Neuropathology in a Novel BAC Transgenic Mouse Model of Myotonic Dystrophy Type 2”
Tala’s research focuses on characterizing the neuropathological features of this novel DM2 mouse model, with an emphasis on understanding how the disease manifests in the central nervous system. Her work contributes important data to the field and supports the model’s relevance for future therapeutic studies.
We are incredibly proud of Hannah and Tala for their dedication to advancing research in neuromuscular and neurodegenerative diseases. Their recognition at IRCND25 highlights the impact and quality of their scientific contributions.
Please join us in congratulating them on this well-deserved achievement!
