MDF DM Day to be held at the University of Florida, June 29, 2019 from 9 am to 4:30 pm.
MDF DM Days are special one-day events that bring together clinicians, researchers, and DM family members to share information & resources and provide close-to-home access to educational sessions.
This event offers opportunities for the community to meet local regional clinical staff, hear first-hand research updates, and learn more about DM disease management. Additionally, the event provides opportunities to meet community members to network, support one another, and collaborate on new initiatives.
Sessions will include the following speakers: Dr. S.H. Subramony (UF Physician and Professor), Barbara K. Smith, PhD, PT (UF Assistant Professor), Donovan Lott, PT, PhD, CSCS (UF Research Associate Professor), William (Bill) Miles, MD, FACC (UF Physician and Professor), Emily Plowman, PhD, CCC-SLP (UF Associate Professor), Eric Wang, PhD (UF Assistant Professor), and others.
Registration is free and provides entrance to general and breakout sessions at the conference, as well as access to resources, light breakfast and lunch. Registering for the conference does not reserve your hotel room. You need to contact a local hotel directly to book your room. See the website below for more information on accommodations.
These events are made possible thanks to a generous MDF donor.
