At this year’s 10th International Myotonic Dystrophy Consortium Meeting, held in Paris, they each won an award for the work they do pertaining to Myotonic Dystrophy.
Dr. Maurice Swanson was awarded the Basic Science Lifetime Achievement Award.
Dr. Tetsuo Ashizawa was awarded the MDF Lifetime Achievement Award.
