Research Interests: A variety of neurodegenerative diseases, including myotonic dystrophy (DM) and spinocerebellar ataxia type 8 (SCA8), are caused by microsatellite expansion mutations. My research program is focused on understanding of the pathogenesis of neurodegenerative diseases.
